What does “alumni” mean?
Although originally adopted in the 19th century by students in English-speaking countries, this Latin term has since become widely used internationally.
The term alumni (the plural form of the Latin alumnus or alumna, meaning “student” or “graduate”) is now commonly used in French-speaking countries to refer to graduates.
Beyond their undeniable professional success, our alumni are one of the greatest strengths of EIDD, the engineering school of Université Paris Cité. Through their unique career paths and achievements, they contribute to the school’s reputation and visibility.
The mission of EIDD is to create and maintain lasting connections among graduates. The school is therefore committed to fostering communication, collaboration, and the sharing of experiences within the Alumni community.

Getting involved with the Alumni EIDD Association
The Alumni EIDD Association is made up of graduates from various academic programs, with diverse personal and professional goals, helping to better represent and strengthen connections within the EIDD engineering network.
