EIDD PRESENTATION

EIDD, the engineering school of Université Paris Cité, trains generalist engineers with a systems-oriented approach.

The ambition of EIDD is to educate engineers who have a global understanding of the systems they are required to design, develop, and oversee, who are aware of ecological and societal challenges and who are able to work in an intercultural environment.

Fully integrated into the academic life of the university and into the civic dynamic of an open urban campus, EIDD values each and every student, fostering a rich and inclusive environment. Through comprehensive and personalized support, every learner benefits from the best conditions to succeed and thrive.

Located at the heart of the Grands Moulins campus, near the François Mitterrand National Library, the school offers a multidisciplinary engineering program with a systems-oriented approach. The curriculum is structured around five specializations.

Three of these specializations focus on the hardware dimension of systems :Engineering physics, Materials and nanotechnologies and Biomedical engineering, and the two others are centered on the software dimension of systems : Bioinformatics and  Embedded computer systems

The academic supervision and skills-based approach developed by EIDD ensure excellent employability for both students and alumni across a wide range of sectors, including information and communication technologies, energy industries, semiconductors, transportation, aerospace, and healthcare.
